just in case my non-Portuguese followers want the English version: "hi girls. are you interested on going for a walk this weekend and having non committed sex?
I explain to myself that girls ar so demanding becaus they simply hav mor at stake each time they hav sexual intercors: you know their bodies (pregnancies, limited fertility in general) but also reputation. The latter is becaus the burden of reponsibl reproductiv behavior is still placed unequally on the sexes. Some of this bias is probably encoded into our brains and evolution hasn't had chance to accomodate to the concept of recreational sex (but see a counter-example in bonobos which hav sex all the time just to avoid strifes or for social cohesion in general).
I'm fully aware I might be representing a minority, but the emotional side of a relationship is so important to me even on the subconscious level, that it is next to impossible on physical level for me to have non-committed sex. The reason might be the afforementioned by @jkniiv.
@myrtti While I have gone through a man-whore phase when I was in my teens I want an emotional connection of some sort with a lover now a days, even if she the connection is just friendship.
I don't know about Portugal but in Finland marriage doesn't enter into the picture of sexual relations much. About 40% of children here ar born to unmarried coupls now. Also the support singl mothers get is good enuff not to make marriage a factor in sex
@myrtti: For me the emotional side is plain and simpl: the feeling that you'r wanted makes the other party mor desirabl ("inner beauty"++). But as a male with low expectations I'm easily flattered. XD
Marriage is a legal contract made to preserve ownership of land and assets in the family, to secure the position of the widow and the possible children. It has nothing to do with the emotional side...
@myrtti, although it's not like a contract when someone breaks one of the terms. They still get to claim half the stuff even if they were the ones who broke the contract
@myrtti: Wrong. Divorce like marriage has been availabl thousands of years -- granted often mor strictly controlled by society and unequally applied between the sexes. The idea of strict equality and no-fault divorce is pretty much new altho not universal.
Going back to the topic of sex and the female arousal conditional to the feeling that the other party is "committed" to the relationship, I think I'v read somewhere that about half of women ar like that and the other half like men, ie obsessed w/sex. ;)
Funny thing about the bonobos (pygmy chimpanzees) I mentioned above is that it's the females that ar most eager to resolv disputes with what amounts to lezzie sex (=frottage) :D. They ar also the least agressiv of the human-chimpanzee sub-family/line.

@sambinha: i'm the worse Dentist client!! i never have any trouble, even when I go there and complain of ackes. My dentist just prescribes me something to help with my gums, and cleans my teeth.
Im my entire life I only had to take 2 teeth (milk ones), place two very small (and white color) chumbos, and repair a front broken tooth (kids never ride a bike against a wall)
