if i start to follow some of the more active users here, i guess i'll be more active on Jaiku, right?

That thought had occurred to me. I keep on assuming that the old crowd I was following will all start reappearing and I can't even remember how I found such good and interesting people in the past.
@alexleonard: yeah been waiting on that too, but many have not! not sure what i can do, other then ping them on other services, email, xmpp and ask them to came back
@alexleonard: the method i used was to follow people whose name a kept seeing either in comments or as originators of Jaiku's themselves. If they what they posted was interesting to ME on multiple occasions then i would add them.
How do i spot the new names, by checking the threads that my existing contacts are commenting on (so it is a combination of the Original Jaiku and the comment that makes me click through and find the "new" people that are in the comment thread). If that makes sense ;)

Aye. I got a couple of retweets on tweeting about Jaiku
I must work out why ping.fm and hellotxt.com are not updating Jaiku when I post to them. It's a little annoying :(

So, why are you using Jaiku? I honestly thought that it was dead service.

@silner: AFAIK there's a way to search for your contacts via email address. you'll have to wait for @adwaele to come here and tell us the link again
